Recirc BOV: Mitsu or Bosch?

I'm deciding on a recirculating BOV: the Mitsubishi unit or the Bosch unit?

Which of the two is more resistant to the turkey sound? Which is more robust? Which of the two has bigger inlet and outlet hoses?

Thanks in advance for any advice anyone might have.

As far as I know the mitsu unit is a bosch unit..

I just got one of these from Ebay:

I think it is a knock off of the Forge type valves. It is a good quality aluminum valve and I think much better than the plastic Bosch valves.

It is replacing an old HKS SSQV that made constant turkey noises when lifting from light boost. The HKS is a "pull type" and the Ebay one is a "push type". I now only get minimal compressor stall (gobble), much less than before. It holds boost fine (over 16 psi).

We have used the Mitsubishi valves for 15 years. We have had 2 failures in that time, so it is a vary reliable valve. The inlet and outlet are 1 3/8". It is also very quiet.

Bosch makes the mitsu valves. I have used several variations and have a Porsche/Audi Racing version on the shelf that uses a brass reinforced diaphram, not sure if I will be using it on my new setup though.

is the mitsu valve from begi metal or plastic?

Even the WRX bypass valve is a good option, as it is known to hold up to 20 psi unmodified. It also has a very quick blowoff action. available for very cheap from subie forums.
