Recirculated today... AWESOME!

I always had a bad bucking problem on the Highway at part throttle conditions. The turbo would be making a small amount of positive pressure, but the manifold would still be in vacuum... holding the BOV open and constantly venting air. BAD! So, I recirced today. GOOD!

Fairly basic design. It's a standard Bosch BOV from a Saab or something. the hose runs under the front edge of the oilpan and into the intake just before the compressor. Barb is brass threaded into the intake. It seals fine, no JBweld or anything.

Results: it's eerily silent now. Prior to this, I was running a Lowes plastic check valve. LOUD!!! Typical flutter noise, etc... Now it sounds like one of those barely audible but deadly farts you hoped the hot chick next to you didn't hear, and then you can blame on your buddy.

Bucking gone. Overall driveability has improved greatly. No more Psst/Whoosh, so I'm rollin' total stealth mode.

Best post-turbo mod yet!

I am going to be doing this here very soon also. Glad that it solved a lot of your problems.
