Looking forward to the run!

Also, that exocet is awesome!

Wait... so are all the whp numbers I see referenced on here more applicable to dyno jet numbers or mustang numbers? Just did a quick search and the interwebs says mustang dynos are about 8% less.

I thought it was more like 10-15%

There's a mustang dyno in my area that's known as the 'heartbreak' dyno for good reason.

Haha, I'll keep that in mind. The tuner is supposed to be really good and one of the only people in this area of the country I could find with experience tuning the Hydra. It will be going to Steve Kan at PRT in Lewisville TX. Wrapping up some loose ends on the car right now and should be able to get it tuned some time in August. Will definitely update after the dyno.

Doesn't really matter. The numbers you see referenced on here aren't FM's dyno.

250whp is going to be fast in that thing, whether it's on a Mustang, Disneyjet, or Dyno Dynamics.

Of the "big three," Disneyjets typically read the highest, but vary the least dyno to dyno.

Gotcha, thanks for the info!

Car looks amazing. That's all I have to add to this.

next person to just blatantly say something as stupid as "mustang dyno's read low" or "mustang dyno's read 10-15% lower than DJ" gets a negcat. statement like that cannot be made, those dyno's read as high or as low as the operator tells them to. period. most places nowadays calibrate them to read as high as, and sometimes even higher, than a DJ

Anyways, 250whp on your average dynojet, in a 1500lb vehicle not only will be fast, but IMO more reliable than your average miata
