is this right?

ok i have to order my oil fee line and just want some reinsurance.(i have a 1.6 & gt28r)

#1.m10x.15 to -4an
#2 -4an female swivel ends
3ft of -4an line
and a -4an to 10x1.25

turbopezz 10-06-2006 08:21 PM

any one positive..

Braineack 10-06-2006 08:58 PM

if the turbo is m10 x 1.25 then it all sounds good to me!

jayc72 10-06-2006 10:01 PM

Are you going to have to run a restrictor?

turbopezz 10-07-2006 08:13 PM

i dont think so.

I believe a lot of those GT28 turbos have restrictors built into the CHRA. FM always used -4AN lines with their kits and no in-line restrictors, only relying on the internal ones, so if that's the case, you'll be fine.

thanks for helping clear that up.:bigtu: .but i know the turbo feed thread cant be m10 x 1.25 .i think its 12x1.25.i guess im gona have to go to sears and match it up but it sucks cause i cant drive there.

bripab007 10-08-2006 07:55 PM

Yeah, 10mm x 1.25 sounds small for the turbo feed opening. Most of the Mitsubishis are like 12mm x 1.5.

kung fu jesus 10-08-2006 08:08 PM

that sounds right.

if the oil feed line comes with swivel ends, it makes it easier to install. i had to use a 90* -4 an fitting off the 10x1.25 adapter on the gt25r i had.

turbopezz 10-10-2006 01:04 AM

ok here it is 12x1.25 is for
nissan t25,t28
mitsubishi t25,14b,and probaly 16gs.

jayc72 10-10-2006 01:19 AM

The mitsu turbo with the greddy kit is M10 not M12.

turbopezz 10-10-2006 01:35 AM

i dont want to thread jack, but what length do the feed and return lines need to be. I'm getting ready to buy my ss hose and as much as this stuff cost I don't want to buy TOO much. I'll be using a begi manifold if that helps...

Braineack 10-11-2006 11:05 PM

you'll want around 36-48"

Just take a bit of wire or string and kinda mock it out and see.
