Sam's Eunos Roadster RS Revent GT2560R build thread
Hello all
This is my Japanese Import Eunos Roadster RS in Chaste White, complete with funky coloured OEM floor mats, mad JDM tyte yo! https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...54ae550dee.jpghttps://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...d74248979b.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...d5963ac07d.jpghttps://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...d8e260486d.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...8ba3866d7a.jpghttps://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...fc403eb826.jpg Being an RS, it has a 6 speed, LSD, power steering, air con, and the BP5A engine which is supposed to have different cams, headwork, 7500rpm rev limit and more power than standard models. I can't vouch for that but it really does like to rev! Mods wise it's running GAZ Gold Pro coilovers, EBC discs and Black, stuff pads and Michelin Pilot Sports on the standard rims. The car is great fun with that combo of mods, but I wouldn't be here if I didn't want more power! Last week, I put the car into my trusted local garage to have the engine pulled to be rebuilt. I've got the following bits on the way from BOFI Racing here in the UK
I'm going to be using the Revent kit for the turbo conversion, so have ordered from them
In a couple of weeks I'll order some more bits from BOFI including
I'm also currently looking at a BBK, I want something that'll fit under a 15" wheel so will likely go with a wilwood kit with 280mm discs. Looking forward to getting this all done in the next couple of months, will update as things progress! Cheers Sam |
Nice car! If you decide on selling the mats let me know, a friend is looking for some. Also, how do you rate the Gaz coilovers?
|
Thanks :)
I don't have much to compare with on the coilovers, they're pretty firm and the low speed ride isn't the best, they get better as you speed up. I'm tempted to swap them out for Ohlins but the cost is huge. As for the mats, they're not going anywhere :) |

Good to see you ordered a radiator. When I saw your pictures I was thinking: this radiator is about to explode if it has turned into that particular brown/green colour.

Curious to know what you will choose. I am thinking personally to buy the Renault RS Brembo upgrade from freakyparts.

I think it is THIS one. But talk to Stew (the owner), he is a really nice and knowledgeable guy and will be able to guide you.

I was actually looking at their Wilwood kit before https://freakyparts.co.uk/collection...-pot-brake-kit |
OK small update
These bits arrived week before last, the cars been into the garage and I got the car back on Tuesday. I'm currently running in the engine having covered 100 miles since I got it back. I've also ordered the turbo kit from Revent which includes everything from the intake filter to the exhaust except the turbo - K&N intake, intercooler, pipework, manifold, downpipe recirculating BOSCH diverter valve and a 2.75" exhaust with 22" silencer and v-band cat and decat pipe. There's a 4 week lead time on the kit, I may buy the ECU, injectors, wideband and intake temp sensor whilst waiting for the kit to arrive. |
