SR20 T25 Housing seized

I picked up a good condition T25 that has probably sat for over 5 years. I planned on rebuilding the thing but after finally removing the 4 housing bolts the exhaust housing is stuck.
I've tried tapping on the housing with a hammer
I unscrewed the bolt holding the housing on by the oil drain till it mated with the oil drain and cranked on the bolt.. still nothing
I then let the whole thing soak over night in penetrant and tried various other things. If anyone has any ideas please lmkhttps://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...eea3b2acf3.jpg

I had to take mine to a friend that had an air chisel to get it separated. Before going that route, you could try getting the exhaust housing red hot with a torch then pour cold water on the CHRA and smack the thing free.

Don't tap on it with a hammer, whack it as hard as you can. Heat it up with a torch too. I also have had good luck turning with a jack handle in the compressor.

As you can see I tried that too lol. I used a small sledge but im worried about cracking the housing.

Well if it cracks then it's the same as it is now, you can't use it lol. Do you have a vice? That would help a lot I doubt you can get the same leverage with two pipes like that.

Thank you Doctorhow!
I bought a propane torch and got it within 5 min
Just heated up the mating area and hit around the housing with a small sledge and then used the bolt by the oil drain to get the housing off by loosening it.

Nice to see that your turbo came apart easier than mine did.

:DNow I need to figure out how to remove the innards. Which shouldn’t be too hard.
