synapse bov

Anybody has any experience with it.
company who sales them explain that with this bov you dont need to recilculate air from bov back to intake to prevent air vacuum leak
is it true???

Stock ecu+maf

I've heard a lot of "Chinese crap" from a few turbo people. If you're going to spend that kind of money, TiAL is an option, American made, great reliability record, and I'd buy from them again.

I got you, but I want to install vta bov, and tial will fix the problem with air leak at idle???
cauz i dont want to recirculate air back to intake

I see only one way without extra piping is install hks sequential blow off? am i right?

Or get the standard "Q" BOV and run a pink, 11psi spring in it. It will seal at idle and cruise and still work properly for a long time.

I want to switch over to the - Synchronic synapse when I switch over to my over radiator intercooler set up, and vent to atmosphere.

Just a thought: Buy a real fueling solution, or recirculate. The idle surge isn't the only problem.

There is a right and a wrong way to do things on the cheap. Spending a ton of cash on a blow off valve that wont leak because you don't want to pony up for a real ECU is pointless.

If it leaks at idle and cruise it will let dirt into the motor. My very first UOA had a bunch of silicon in it, changing the spring in the BOV fixed it.

Iys my first time installing turbo, so im kinda nood in this. I will get ms later. Cauz closest dyno for me is 200 miles away. So here is what i got now td05 16g(rebuilded with japanese parts.), tial wastegate, begi fpr, wallbro pump, supra 305 injectors, prosport wideband, cxracing intercooler kit and cheap manifold and downpipe from ebay, msd timing, o2clamp. Im trying to get good quality parts, so is good idea or no?

Im not prep a car for racing, i uses this car for cruising and sometimes use extra hp. Sorry for my english

I've only read about these I personally have never seen one in person. I just approve on design. In theory it sounds like it should work. You could always run a filter for those who don't like the valve open on cruise and idle, or do the recirculated method.

I'm not saying its a good idea to run a leaking BOV. But running a VTA valve because you "don't want to recirculate" and are running a stock ECU is a poor excuse to spend the cash. At such low boost pressures, just buy a stock valve from an audi and recirculate.

No sag, no leaks. Win.

You will most likely crack that manifold. It may hold up if you brace it properly. Everything else points to a fairly tame bandaid setup, which is doable, but not advised. Just save the cash for now and pick up a bosch valve and recirculate it. You'll appreciate it when the car doesn't run like crap between shifts.

sounds simple, just put small air filter on synapse bov and it should work?

850808 05-14-2011 07:37 PM

and no bov sound? Sounds stupid bit i like that sound

My recirculated Bosch valve still made fancy noises.

Techsalvager 05-14-2011 07:46 PM

if its a simple low boost setup, forget a bov for now.

if you want to use the synapses bov with the AFM still in place you will need to run their check valve they have for it.

hustler 05-14-2011 07:49 PM

Save your money, buy a real computer, smile later.

850808 05-14-2011 07:49 PM

so i understand tha there is only one way. Recirculate air baxk to intake. And when ill get a MS get a normal bov.?

Techsalvager 05-14-2011 07:53 PM

http://www.ultrarev.com/sb001.5a.html
you can use that and recirculate the synapses bov until later, than you can run it without it once you go standalone
