Default are t25 and mitsu 16g the same

i was wondering if the t25 and 16g are the same i was looking at manifolds and all and found the megan racing one says it fits both, making me think that they have the same mounting flanges is that true? can i use a 16g from my friends evo on a begi t25 manifold?

An EVO 16g will not work on a T2 (aka T25) flange manifold. More recent Evo turbos are really great but they have a dual inlet turbine that is not going to work with any off the shelf manifolds. This is what an EVO flange looks like..

ok, maybe not everyone knows this, but the 2g mitsu used a t-25 but it doesn't use a t2 flange, it uses the dsm flange, so if you have a manifold that will run a 16g it will also run a mitsu t-25 but not a nissan or whoever else's t25

This kind of discussion is exactly why we need a FAQ with these answers to it... I'm not the guy to do it because I just don't know enough... but some of you do probably know enough...
Check out my posts in this thread. Does anybody have the time and correct knowledge to attempt to assemble the information I'm talking about here:
https://www.miataturbo.net/forums/showthread.php?t=4288

Braineak, thanks for assembling the information you currently are. I understand the amount of information that is out there and cataloging it all will take some time... but the time and confusion it will save people I think would be worth it. Does anybody have the resources to come up with a couple of pages highlighting the dozen or so popular turbos, what flanges/downpipes/stock cars/manifolds/applications/etc... apply to our Miatas?
