So lets say I were to get an E-manage blue and run my turbo setup with it. The setup would consist of an intercooler, recirc. bypass valve, manual boost controller, and 330cc injectors + dual feed rail.

Now, I know that the 02 clamp and things like Olderguy's autotune are great additions, but reading about them, it almost sounds like they are absolutely necessary or the engine just won't function correctly in boost. Is that the case? Plenty of people don't use the e-manage and don't ahve 02 clamps or autotunes... do they just all drive around with terrible things happening like the ECU leaning out the injectors to compensate and such...?

Essentially, how big of a difference do these things make, and how necessary are they? Is a turbo kit pointless without them or do they just make a great setup a slight bit better?

they just make tunning easuer if you where to jump on a dyno with people who knew how to adjust the emanage the same tune could be acheived, but with autotune the ecu is learning and adjsuting it's parameters constantly think of it qas biofeedback for your ecu either you can pay soem one to tell you wha tand why you are doing something wrong or you can get the equipment and let the ecu tune itself via trialand error over time as it cycles through changes in referenc to the base maps. i hope this helps sorry if it was to long.
