Default which turbo

I am new to this forum, I have a couple of posts on mnet, but no one really seemed to know the answer to this...

I have two turbos (yet to be installed, still getting the rest of the parts I need

one is a td05 16g

the other is a IHI RHB5

I have the manifold for the 16g already, but I am afraid it will be super laggy with my stock exhaust (planning on upgrading when I make more money)

at first I only want to run, maybe 6 or 7 PSI, will the 16g be happy doing this or will it freak out? should I just use the smaller one?

thanks in advance, I have already gotten alot of info from reading this forum

Use what you have. The 16g will be better for more power down the road. Stock exhaust will limit you with both regardless.

the 16g small or normal is a great turbo i run one it is not laggy and will run any boost you want up to about 16 psi. the large 16g is crap below 14 psi it is always outflowed by the normal 16g. it is also good for 340 or os hp and if you out grow it you can upgrade to the evo III 16g wich has all of the characteristics of the small costs abit more but can make about 400 hp or more the mitsu turbos are easy to find via dsm performance shops and rock solid reliable.
