How are you controlling fuel? What do your AFRs look like?

If the answer is "what?" or "Stock fuel system", then GTFO with stupid questions about why your car runs like shit and just finish blowing it up. If you don't even have the sense to run a wideband O2 sensor with a bandaid setup, there is no helping you.

TL;DR- Probably because you don't have any way of controlling the fueling or monitoring it.

Stop driving your car. If you don't have any way to control the fueling, the car will run like crap and eventually destroy itself.

Read some of the FAQs, they will answer these types of questions.

FRT_Fun 05-08-2011 03:02 PM

Oh my lord. Like said above, read the FAQs this is covered.

Notice how it says things to consider BEFORE turbocharging your vehicle. Don't know how you managed to post in this sub forum and not see the stickies....

is this what i should be buying next then

FRT_Fun 05-08-2011 03:07 PM

No you should stop buying things and read first.

Get on they are much friendlier there particularly to people who are "just getting started". Most of the guys on this forum are frankly light years ahead of you, its a bit like asking on an electrical engineering forum how to program a VCR. And of course the classifieds are going to be of more use to you on a British forum.

However as nobody is willing to give you an answer, here is the short version.

Do not buy a wideband first. If you have no fueling setup that MUST be the next thing you do. Do not take lightly what we are saying about not driving it again. The turbo is forcing in ALOT more air and you have to force in more fuel to match. As the car sits now, EVERY TIME you go into boost you are damaging the engine a little bit. Permanently. It will not take long to ruin it.

Get on nuts, read the "guides" section about forced induction. read the F.A.Q. at the top of this forum. then start asking questions once you know the fundamentals.

maybe if you started living less like a traveler and more like a human being you wouldn't have so much difficulty with following instructions

Blaize 05-14-2011 07:51 AM

And the racism has arrived. Simetimes this forum makes me embarrassed to be an American.

Like I said, try mx5nuts. They are much more likely to actually help.

FRT_Fun 05-14-2011 08:59 AM

You're right, because people should be judged as a whole and not individually. Sometimes you make me embarrassed I'm a human being.

Blaize 05-14-2011 09:34 AM

Fair point. It just seems to be very common on this forum compared to others. But I did not mean to say everyone is like that.

Last I checked, "traveler" was the preferred term (OP would likely spell it "traveller"). Words like "gypsy", "gypo", "tinker", or the popular "pikey" are typically considered offensive to the travelling people.

Because the OP divides his time between collecting ASBOs and blowing other dudes in his caravan home, he has difficulty understanding simple instructions. Perhaps Rick can see about translating the entire site into Shelta to cater to our new friend.

Blaize 05-14-2011 01:35 PM

Its not the term used man, its the assumption that by being a traveller he must be a moron. You wouldn't have said that a Mexican is lazy then defend the statement by asserting that you didn't say wetback.

diddy 05-14-2011 02:30 PM

gotta say, i much prefer this forum to the softball fields known as cr.net and m.net, because sure you are more likely to get bitched out for asking a question but it's only because your question was probably stupid.

all travellers are fucking idiots, even John Bull agrees with that

Blaize 05-26-2011 06:41 PM

Pusha, I take it all back man. Just read this idiots meet and greet thread, he deserves all the abuse you can throw at him.
