Default Need to Rebuild my TD05-16g. Options?

The TD05-16g (external WG) im running on my 1.6 with the JDM greddy kit is leaking alot, probably thanks to the POs Drain line configuration. So its time to rebuild.

The options im looking at are,
Buying an ebay rebuild kit and hoping everything fits right.

Buying the OEM DSM rebuild kit and hoping that even though its a greddy everything still works.

Trying to buy another greddy td05-16g that will bolt up to my manifold.

Or buying a DSM 16g and swapping out the center section into my turbo.

I hope that I can get away with just rebuilding it and that the shaft isnt worn down excessively because im having trouble finding parts for it other then rebuild kits. Ive searched a lot but theres not a whole lot of people running it on mazdas and most information only pertains to the Internal WG DSM turbos. Some people ive seen swap in the Big 16g parts as an upgrade, but again, cant find a lot of for sure information.

Whats everyone opinions on what I should do other then swap in a different sized turbo.

The only decently priced 16G I can find is this one. If it would work id use it as my donor.

Just buy an OEM kit and call it a day.

Doesn't the one linked have an internal gate on it?

The only parts that need to rebuilt are related to the center cartridge. So whether or not the parts are for a internally wastegated turbo or not shouldn't matter.

As far as the turbo being a greddy, I believe they are still the dsm turbos. It's like the 15g I rebuilt a while ago which had volvo stamped over it. It's still the mistsubishi design so it did not matter. For parts just get them for a td05 16g and you should be good.

Try calling BNR supercars (bnrsupercars.com) and see if Bryan can help you with parts and/ or service. He's pretty reasonable and he does very nice work if you want to go that route.
