also, 1.8 or 1.6
1.8 will have issues with clearance from what im told...there is a thread here about it...the coolant return i think is in the way and you may need to relocate the exit of it, try a search in the DIY on "full build"
gypsies are good peoples, lol

They have possibly the worst reputation of anyone on the internet.

Google them up

Some of their more common nicknames tell the story:

SSGhettochrome

SSChinachrome

Chinacharger

Ghettocharger

etc.

I had a ssautochrome manifold and exhaust on my 240sx, never had any problems.

I've only heard bad things about their miata stuff though.

Their FMIC kit for WRX/STI is top notch. Exactly like the Turbo XS one and costs about $400 shipped. Lots of piping in the kit too, so it's not just a core.

Miata stuff obviously not.

The construction of their tubular manifolds is poor. Furthermore, the metal used is either a poor quality stainless or stainless coated steel.

I purchased a tubular SS manifold from them a few years ago. The mounting holes on the head flange were mis-drilled and it wouldn't even mount up. I am currently using their cast manifold and haven't had any problems with it. It's essentially a perfect gReddy replica.

The cast manifold is junk. Do not get it. ever. Unless you want an expensive doorstop. I've gone through 2 of them, the threads don't hold up and deteriorate. The iron in the casting is very poor quality. Kevin must have gotten lucky

I was thinking about this just today. I'm waiting for the thing to just fall of the car. FWIW, I only have about 275 miles on this manifold

I had a set of their headers for my mx6 and they were great. I wouldn't trust them for anything with moving parts though.

Mine has less, but it was all track time on the last one. Didn't last 100 miles between 2 weekends at VIR and Summit Point...

Funny, my BEGI manifold has been bolted firmly to my car for 3000 miles, including 700 track miles. No problems at all.

You get what you pay for, people.
