timing adjustment advice needed
after installing the begi kit im now at the stage were i might have to adjust the timing to minimise the chance of knock as begi recomend if you here know.
iv had alook though my manual but cant find out how to can someone tell me how to adjust the timing please. |
You have to loosen the CAS on the back of the head and rotate it. Do it in tiny amounts and check your timing after each move.

Before you loosen the retaining bolt, use a scribe to mark a line across the body of the CAS and the cap at the back of the head which it abuts. This was you have a reference point for where it was before you started. (I'm assuming purely from the tenor of the conversation that you do not own a timing light.)
