Timing Table for Lower Compression 1.6 GT28r?

Anyone running 1.6 with lower compression pistons and GT28R running 16+ psi? Can I check out your timing tables?

I'm using the generic FM 1.6 timing map, and it looks really conservative. I had it on the dyno, and it was only making 200 whp at ~16.5 psi. The last owner said the pistons were 8.5:1, but anyone know a good way to verify?

After messing around with timing, it got to 230 whp at 16.5 psi, but I think it's still conversative. I'll post the timing table and dyno plot when I get home.

in all seriousness, you could probably bump 10* of timing more in boost to your map and still be conservative.

NO NO NO, don't tell him that. Next thing you know he's going to blow his motor. In all seriousness, just fork out the cash to get it professionally tuned.

here's the table he's running:

I might have been exaggerating, but I bet he could get away with 18* of timing at 16psi, not 8*.

check out my recent dyno thread. Mines not low compression, but my map is more advanced than yours and has no knock. Its an excel file
