trans diff question-current build

Built a 1.6 from the ground up clevite bearings, thrust washers, eagle rods, ultrasonically cleaned the pistons, cometic .80mil headgasket to drop comp, stock fuel reg+rail, walboro 255, 550cc purple rx7injectors,ms v3 board built by J. Perez, toyota cops, fresh cyclinder head as well the block was shot peened and re-honed prior. coolant reroute. big nose crank and nose swap, itm oil pump, gates water pump, garrett t28. thats gives you sorta a jist of what I'm working with.

I'm about to pick up a rx7trans and diff, my question is..do the mounts need to be fabbed? or does this magically bolt up to the ladder brace? I imagined I would split the miata trans, take the front half and mate that too the rx7 tail. Is this necessary? Any input would be good, I've been hearing stock fuel rail and regulator is ok? my goals are 300+ whp or should I be looking into the mtune dual feed, or look into the diy on here.

Turbo RX7 trans (aka R trans) is the upgrade, the other is the same gearbox/strength as the Miata (different bell and tail). Neither bolt up. Adapter plate is need for the bell housing and a solution for the PPF or trans support. Fab custom drive shaft. Diff is similarly complex- mounting and axles.

Miata bell housing is one big honking piece. No separating the front bellhousing from the main gear casing.

your right im looking at this tranny i didnt realize how long that front half is. so adapter plate needs to be custom made eh

There are two different RX7 transmissions. You can take the small RX7 center section and bolt the tail and front (bell) sections to it. The large RX7 transmission (referred to as R and turbo) shares nothing with the Miata transmission. The adapter plate is needed for this R transmission to bolt it to the B engines.
