I think that's pretty big. Especially for a 1.6. It's an interesting compressor wheel though. The inducer is pretty small compared to the exducer which is pretty big.

For comparisson, my EVO3 16G compressor is 48mm and 68mm.

That's a diesel turbo hence compressor wheel ratio weirdness. You'll never spool it or be happy with it, but go ahead.

Go for it. **** it. if it all ends terrible, you will still have a T3 flange IIRC Manifold if you don't like it. Sell the turbo on Turbobricks, and buy/trade a smaller T3 flanged Turbo. Profit?

If you got the cash/Burning desire. Go for it. I wanna see it. I would love to throw a Hx30/35W on a miata just for kicks and **** if I had the disposable income to justify it.

OP, get something less obscure. Don't build your car around a single part.

well yes. but there's no reason to build a system around a shitty turbo to find out it sucks then to have to figure a away to adapt the setup to something that actually works.

I agree with brain 100%

You should get a 1.8. But so long as the turbo is a T3 flange, do it. because you could always swap to a smaller T3 flanged turbo.

Again TurboBricks would love that turbo if its in good condition, if you dont want it, or whatever. They love the Diesel turbos for the 2.X motors.
