Turbo exhaust question

Hey everybody, So Im in the process of doing my exhaust. Down pipe is fabbed up for the most part, and im in the process of doing the rest my question is........ If i route my 2.5 inch down pipe to about where the resonator is and keep everything else stock how much power would i lose? Pleaz keep in mind i am throwin out the cats, and this is only temporary. Thanx!

you will lose spool and top-end....maybe 20-30bhp, that stock exhaust is like 1.875" I.D.

build yourself a cheap catback, it's worth the extra time.

only change is a 3" exhaust.

For a temp. thing its just going to limit you a bit like brain said. Just make sure it does get done. And use at least 2.5" tube.

Big exhaust really helps the turbo, faster spool, better top end and gains everywhere. I'd recommend 3" all the way back.

I'm running full custom stainless - 2.5" from the turbo manifold through the dumppipe to the cat, muffler and tailpipe.

Sweet as a nut. :D
