Turbo kit for 2000 for $2000-$2500??

Hey guys I've been trying to figure out my options for a turbo kit on my 2000 Miata. I've bought a Garrett I think t28 turbo it says (a/r60 m24 1-2) button what I have found online it looks to be a ball bearing turbo like the gt2560 that fm and Begi use but the plates been broke off so I can't call Garrett and find out the exact specs. I deffinally want to go either brainack ms or DIY's new ms2 pnp for engine management. The things I'm really confused on is mani, dp, intercooler and piping. The only two brands I can find is Begi and fm I've also found artech but not sure how it works with a/c and p/s. are there any other brands I'm just missing? Ive been thinking about getting Begi s1 kit minus the turbo and use the one I bought but it's a little more than I wanted to spend but if that's my best bet I may do that just wanted to get some opinions. Thanks guys

Pause. Set drink down. Compile thoughts. Type. Get answers.

Now...what are you asking?

As a first responder, I will offer that people often recommend against buying a random turbo and then trying to build around it. Maybe you'll lucked out. (you say you don't even know what it is you bought??)

Post several pictures of your turbo here so we can have a look and determine what it actually is that you bought. You aren't going to find much cheaper than Begi and FM for a 2000, unless of course you look used. As for A/C and P/S, there's no reason you need to do anything with that.

Ok I will try to upload some but what I've gathered is its off a s15 and is a ball bearing turbo. A/r60 and on the exhaust 64 which is the gt2560 that bell and fm uses. And the main thing I'm asking would I be better of piecing a kit of buying a complete kit or a semi complete kit money and quality in mind. Is Begi intercoolers really worth the extra 800-1000 or should I just get a cxracing and make my own pipes? Stuff like that. I am pretty much set on using there mani and dp but I'm just wondering about the rest of the stuff oil and water lines, intercooler, heatshields, ect. Thanks guys

If it is a street car then there is nothing wrong with using an ebay IC and piping. Also do you have AC and PS? Those make hotside pipes a bit harder to route.

If you are not in a rush you will get much more bang for your buck piecing together your own kit.

Yes planning on being my daily driver for the most part at 6psi-8psi. I'm wanting to keep stock injectors. And I also do have AC and PS and plan on keeping both since this is my dd any may see a track once a year if it's lucky

By piecing together a kit do you mean getting used stuff off here? Is there anything to look for when it comes to used stuff so I don't end up with a junk pile? Are manifolds ok to get used? I saw one post talking about having to have them taken back to flat??
