Turbo NA6 under construction questions - Fuel mixture related

Just wanting to confirm:

are the 1.8 Tan top injectors simply plug and play on a 1.6?

Is the o2 clamp necessary under 7psi boost?

Is the o2 clamp necessary when running a MSpnp?

Any significant impacts should one not run an o2 clamp?

Spoon feeding in progress :)

From what I have read injectors are plug and play.

O2 clamp is used to fool stock ECU. If you are going Megasquirt not needed. You do have a wide band O2 sensor right? If not, purchase one before doing anything else!

I guess what I was trying to get at is if I could get away from not buying an O2 clamp since I plan on going with a MS shortly. Id like to drive the car around pre MS and not blow things up... of course keeping boost down to a conservative level.

You're doing it backwards. If you're going to do one before the other, MS goes on first. You learn to use MS. THEN you install turbo kit.

This way you don't run around with stupid bandaids on your car and avoid blowing it up.
