Default Water pump inlet tube options/help need.

Might be a noob question but I have searched and come up with nothing other than the stock msm piece.

What options are out there for the water pump inlet tube The motor is a 94 with no ps, ac or heater. Turbo is a 2560R, not sure about the manifold.

Check my build thread I run the stock one flipped around, so does soviet. It requires the use of slim fans though. You can also use any of the water neck options depending on how you are going to run your cooling setup.

I'm using the stock one flipped around too. I'm just running a stock automatic radiator and fans and it fits fine. That black hose now connects to a -10 push lock thats threaded on that fitting pointing up. The heater core line is a custom hard line that runs above the turbo manifold to another push lock on the other side near the firewall.

Basically what these guys said: you either flip the stocker and modify it to work, or you buy the begi kit that does the same thing, just a little neater/cleaner

Shouldnt matter, any turbo setup that requires the inlet to be flipped wont fit with PS or AC anyways.

/\ Not true at all.

Begi s4 requires it flipped and clears both ps and ac

But to answer the question: yes, if done right (or begi piece used) it should clear.

How? If the turbo is interfering with the water pump inlet you wont be able to get a hose on the inlet of the turbo if there is a PS pump or A/C comp in the way. Unless the inlet is only blocking the oil line or something.

Not the actual inlet, but the hose going from it is directly under the turbo on the s4. But I see what you were referring to now
