Turbo Parts List - Advice?
 
Hey guys, I've had my miata for about a little over a year and a half and I've been always thinking about doing a turbo setup. I just want to know if I'm going in the right direction with the parts that I would be choosing to go with. Also, im not trying to cheap out on doing this and I'm looking to spend about 2-3k doing it. I'm not in a rush nor do I have the money at the moment to do it. So I'm just throwing that out there before I get trashed on. On to the parts list:

I want this to be a simple setup that will get me to about 200hp on about 10-12psi, it would also be my first time boosting a car.

: T25 from an SR20
: Flyin Miata Manifold
: Flyin Miata Downpipe (One that bolts to stock Cat)
: Megasquirt V2 PnP or a V3 that I might get built here (forgot who does it on here)
: Innovate Wideband (If someone could explain what this does that would be awesome and if it is needed)
: Flyin Miata Happy Meal Clutch
: Walbro Fuel Pump
: Begi Oil Supply Kit (This is my worries, getting all the supplies needed to do the oil pan and for the turbo, any help on this would be greatly appreciated)
: T25 Turbo Gaskets from Begi
: T25 Outlet Flange from Begi (If needed?)
: T25 Inlet Flange (Just had one but now lost the link)
: Tap tool for the Oil Pan from Begi
: Tial .38mm Wastegate (Also if needed?)
: Ebay FMIC Kit

Please let me know if I'm heading in the right direction with my parts list and also please share any information with me in running a much simpler setup or anything really. I'd like to get as much info and tips as possible so when I decide to pull the trigger on ordering parts for a turbo build I will know I'm heading in the right direction! Please help though with the oil fittings and what I really do need besides a 3/8N NPT to the pan and running stainless steel lines from like summit racing, is it better to go with a -3an or -4an, because I know on 240's majority of people run a -4an fitting. Anyway, hope to hear from you guys.

Turbo gaskets are a waste, just make sure you have a flat surface on both turbo and manifold

Not needed, SR20 turbo has an internal wastegate

You also need bigger injectors. Rx8 yellow injectors or GT500 injectors.

-4AN requires a restrictor.
Walbro pump is not necessary.

But judging off of a lot of what you've said here, you definitely need to do some more research and understand what you're buying. It is incredibly easy to trash your motor if you don't know exactly what you're doing.

more research is needed before you pull the trigger if your asking these questions.

Turbo inlet and outlet flanges are only needed if you are running an OEM turbo that uses a bolt on pipe (like a s14 sr20 turbo). If you get an gt2560 or gt2554 or similar the inlet and outlet are designed to just have a coupler bolted directly to the housing.

I've found AEM widebands to be more user friendly than the LC1 but either are good products.

Brain or MSlabs can build you the ECU.

wastegate is internal to the turbo and usually comes with the turbo for the FM/BEGI kits (no external WG is required)

Alright sounds good guys! Yea, I have been looking to turbo my KA from my S14 once I rebuild my other motor and i've been doing all my research on that part and forgot about what I needed for a miata setup, you guys made my life a little easier now that I know I don't need all of these parts for what I'm trying to make in power! Ill be definitely doing more research before I pull the trigger on anything! Thanks guys
