Is that the model that guys, that is hard to pass emmisions. Or will the excede work?

Your motor with a good tune on a basic 2560 or 2554 is good for 200-250hp with a good tune. Some go higher according to skill, luck and turbo.

Pretty much, you need a manifold, matching turbo, down pipe, and tubing to the intake. Then some form of fuel management. Then you either retard your timming back, or get a device to retard timing during boost, some fuel management systems contol fuel and spark.

You will probably need a piggy back for cali. But I have no ideal about their laws!!! So find out before you buy. I live in the land of milk and honey, 93 octane, and no emissions on the farm.

To get over 7psi you need a Intercooler or water injection.

There are alot of factors on everything.
Your goals and buget plan would help set the direction of your build better.

This forum does not condone turbocharging, therefore if you used the search function, you would find absolutely no good information at all. Whatever you do, don't read the sticky's in all the forums because they are all irrelevant.

What you really need to do in your very first post ever is ask the most generic broad question without providing any background information and wait for people to spend their time sitting at a computer trying to describe to you the process of turbocharging when we know you wouldn't understand jack shit because if you're too dumb to search, there's no way you'd comprehend the mechanics of forced induction. But nobody here knows anything about turbocharging anyways, so this is moot.

This forum is probably where you should start: Chevy Malibu Forum

Nothing gets deleted. Good or bad.

You will get to look back on how far you came after you finished.

Everything for turbo'ing is pretty simple. It just takes so much reading to figure out what combo you want.

Good Luck!
