I want to build something stupid like that. Back down to a 1.6 with a holset or gt65. Would really be a hoot to jack around with.

although, If Im not mistaken a gt3076r is bigger than a normal T3/T4
gt != T technically my turbine is smaller than a 3071's. My turbine: 45mm exducer and 63.5mm inducer. 3071 turbine: 55mm exducer and 60mm inducer. |
Can you guys give me a range of numbers and the important specs so Im not running back asking about turbo after turbo. Thanks

I bet something making 225rwtq at 3K is more "fun"

it's telling you GT for Garrett Turbo, then the turbine "size", and then the compressor inducer size in mm. a 2560 and 2860 both have a 60mm compressor wheel, but the 2860 is like .07" larger inducer. the 2560 obviously has a smaller turbine than the 2860. but yes, Makes much more sense the quickly judge the size.
my T3 Super 60 would be labeled like a GT2960. |
I unfortunately am better versed in the T system and am lost on the GT system, but am slowly picking it up.
So what's the GT #'s for a T40E 50 Trim? |

So what's the GT #'s for a T40E 50 Trim? It's kinda out the window at that point, but the 3076 would be the closet. Since the t04e 50 trim wheel is 76mm/54mm and the 3076 wheel is 76.2mm/57mm |
Anyone know anything about a TB03 off a 81 280zx? I can't seem to find much info about it.
|
just a T3, not sure the sizing.
edit: looks like a 60 trim T3. http://www.redz31.net/pages/turboupgrade.html |
