used turbo "break in" question

hey guys I tried searching but I didnt find what I was looking for.

Im installing a *good* used 16g on my miata, and I want to know if there is any break in/warm up procedure.

like should I preoil the turbo or somthing? should I do the bump the starter thing a few times or somthing else? same question for water, I figure it'll pump in pretty fast, faster than cold oil anyways.

thanks

The instant you turn the key, the oil feed line is flowing. If you're super ----, for the first time you start it, you could take a turkey baster and squirt a cup into the housing and then put the feed line back on.

But Brain is right... the one or two seconds it's running until the CHRA receives it's bath won't hurt anything. Just start it up.

Pshhh, who needs oil. I just spit on mine. Spit is a natural lubricant after all ;)

Jenna Jamieson says it's the best... I would tend to believe her on a subject like that.
