Walbro 190 install question

So far research has not found any posts on this issue; I am changing out the stock fuel pump on my '93, in prep for a turbo install. As the Walbro 190 is longer, it seems like I may have to cut the stock fuel tube / receiver, and use a length of rubber hose, as you do on the later NA, and NB style pump consoles. You can see in the photos, the O-ring seal, and spacer that installs the stock pump; these parts will fit on the Walbro output neck, and fit into the stock tubing, but that makes the pump length too long for the fixture base to go back together. I know plenty of 1990-93 cars have upgraded the fuel pump, so before I cut the stock set up, (and later regret my hastiness) can anyone advise me? Thanks!

Just get DW200. Goes right in with no mods.

Thanks for your response; I ended up cutting the stock tube, and that took care of it. I already had the new 190, so was looking to see if this is what others did for the install.
