Default It's alive!!! Alive!!!

After a lot of ******* about I drove the car briefly last night. No boost controller yet, so only making 6PSI ... but the spool. Well lets just say it's good!

Here is my setup as installed last night:

BEGI 1.6 Manifold
GT2554R
BEGI SS DG DP
Ebay China-Cooler (28X9X3)
FM Silly-cone i/c pipes
FM BOV
Link MKII ECU
RX7 460's

I still have to put back the undertray and associated bits.

Left to install:
Vishnu Fuel Rail
RC550cc injectors

It was a pretty busy winter on the car. Remove old Greddy setup ... Turbo install, replaced all my gauges and installed a Godspeed rad. Figured out how to use my mig welder to boot!

Next big thing will be tuning once I get the injectors all sorted out.

Nice.
Not sure why you'd want to go to the 550s though.

Gots them cheap. And of all the RC equipped cars I've seen have had better idle with the Link, compared to the RX7 injectors. Could be my car, but it'll be a pretty much zero cost upgrade once I sell the RX7 injectors.

I agree that the RC injectors are better than the old Densos, but think that that all the benefit will be offset by the fact you're going from 460 to 550.

I don't know if the ~90cc will make that much difference in idle quality, but we'll see. And these will give me room to grow if I decide to buy a larger turbo one day.

This is the second turbo setup in this car, compared to some people (*cough*Hustler*cough*) who haven't even installed one! I think I'm doing pretty good.

In the past 8 months I've done the following:
Had a house built
Built my own garage (this was a major sucker of time)
Knocked up my wife (April 23 is dooms day)
Replaced my Greddy kit with this new one
Drank a lot of beer
Watched some TV
Wasted a metric ton of time on teh intarweb

I'm very productive thank you very much!

I'm picturing this as a montage with the soundtrack "Heaven Tonight" by Yngwie Malmsteen.

Congrats on the baby man! Do you know if it's going to be a boy or a girl?

I didn't know there was TV and beer in Canada!

Girl. There was a distinct lack of ***** in the 3d ultrasound.

TV and beer is something we have a lot of here.
