I pulled off my turbo manifold because Jeff and I are going to port the wastegate tomorrow and found my exhaust ports on the head were very dirty. Well not anymore bitches!
Attachment 201873 Attachment 201874 Attachment 201875 Attachment 201876 Took about an hour. Used 60 grit sanding dremel attachment. Then the abrasive disc. Then polished with a wire wheel. On to making a manifold. |
What did you do to keep debris from falling into the cylinders?

I almost forgot to but luckily the first 2 i did just so happened to have the valves closed. Very lucky indeed. |

I took a wire brush to mine when I was waiting on parts idk.

i wanted to do this when i was doing my install.................i was to lazy to do it. that and i was worried about getting shit in the cylinders.

I would definitely try on a junk head to practice. I just felt comfortable and went with it. Make sure the valves fully seated and plug the other 3 holes grind sand polish compressor air. Rinse and repeat.
