What about RX-7 550cc Injector Part #195500-1370?
I think the S5 Turbo are these injectors right:
RX7 550cc 1995500-2020 <--seem to be the part number I found here, they are purple tops? But What about: RX-7 550cc 195500-1370. Purple tops, rectangular connectors?...Both are high Imp...are these from an S4? Will they work? I wish I understood this shit better. Thanks in advance for the learning. |
the 2020's are round connector high imp, they're preferred because they're plug and play with the miata injector harness, no connectors to solder in.
They have a sort of red/purple top. The part number is best way to figure it out. I'm not sure about the 1370's but the 2020's are easy enough to get that i wouldn't want to bother with getting and soldering new connectors in. Most of the square connectors are low-imp though. |
oh...shit, I didn't even think about the connectors...for some reason I was thinking we were square...
Thanks |
You're a square. I spell it out for you in my FAQ.

sorry bud :( |
RX-7 550cc 195500-1370
FYI-
I sent off two sets of RX-7 550cc 195500-1370 injectors for cleaning yesterday. Both with the same part number, both supposedly 550cc, both with square connectors but one set was low impedance the other was high impedance! |
http://www.witchhunter.com/injectordata1.php4 that is becuose there are 2 types of 1370 injectors 1 is high and the other is low. The low impedance ones seem to be paler. with the highs looking redder like the 2020's.

Theres a thing called stickies, and stickies are important documents you should read before you post. They say "give a man and a fish and he eats for the day but teach him to use a fishing rod and he eats for life"
So I'm gonna show you Go to forum home Go to 'DIY Turbo Discussion' Go to "STICKY; DIY FaQ - All your answers in one big post' Then read |

Most of this has been covered, but here's more backup...
The 1370s are easy to use with the cheap square connectors found on eBay...but be careful...like dvcn I bought two sets of two of these, and one of them was low impedance. Let's just say my car ran like a turd. It wasn't until I shipped them to a poor guy in Spain that we found the second set that arrived wasn't high imp...I had only put the multimeter on the first set and trusted the part number after that. Don't be afraid of splicing in square connectors. They're cheap, new, and quality. Only bad part is the clip ring makes it harder to remove while injectors are installed...but the weather seal makes them tight enough I ran without the clip for months without problems. |

Well you know...
Build a man a fire and warm him for a day. Set a man on fire and warm him for the rest of his life. Lol. |
