Well I got my egay t28 for 200 smacks. The build quality is definitely a lot...less...Well, especially the intake housing, it feels far inferior compared to the housing on my sr20 t25.

Not all chinachargers are like that. If they were Bell wouldnt be offering one in a kit, and a forum member would have been running one for 2 years.

But thats a knock off of an off brand, so what do you expect... I still say go for it with the XS. As long as its a legit XS, it should be fine at least for a while, or maybe for a very long time. Gamble, its only money...

I'm holding off on this one..
If anyone wants it I can pm you the info. Id rather get a more properly sized turbo (say gt28ish) and mess with that, then get this godzilla and have it **** the bed in a year. Hell, for my next turbo I might just throw a vf39/43/34 in there

I read about the member with the fleaBay turbo goin' on 2 years...thats very impressive! I dont doubt its entirely possible and believable; the issue is whether or not you're really getting a good one. I'd personally rather pay a little extra and know I'm getting a good turbo and have good customer service.

There are plenty of other areas on a car you can gamble on with "lesser" parts...for instance, Dexron VI. It has very strict requirements, and as long as off-brand Wal-Mart type stuff meets those requirements, then its as good as any other. However, a turbo is not somewhere that I'm going to take the risk.
