What MBC is good to use?
So I want a MBC, but $80 for a turbo smart sounds steep, and I'm a cheap ass. What do you guys use that is cheap and works really well? I just wanna run 12-14 psi. Thanks.

I just have a cheap $10 ebay mbc - it works fine.
They're so dirt simple, you won't really find one that performs substantially better/worse than anything else - a $10 unit (provided it doesn't show up broken) will work just as well as an $80 one. |
I'am cheap also but........I bought a Turbosmart Boost Tee anyway, because my Ebay one turned out to be junk.
|
I made my own for about $15, same that FM sells.

turbosmart Tee is good from what i've heard.. i wanted in cabin control so I went all out and got the Hallman Evo RX lol
|
I used to use an old air compressor regulator that I had laying around. It was really touchy though since it could go to 140psi. The turbo smart one looks like quality, but like I said I'm a cheap ass, and under $20 is my style.

I was looking for parts at work so I could build that one, but I couldn't find them. Perhaps the local hardware store will carry that grainger valve. A Lowes just opened right near me on Friday, maybe they carry the parts?
