What other COPs ?

So what other COPs are out there?

The Toyota COPs are too thick for the 2001 valve cover without mods. I'd rather use something that's more PnP.

got any friends that work for toyota? maybe you can go to the parts dept with a 6er of beer and ask them if you can play with COPs

Check out 99+ Isuzu Trooper COPs. My dad has one. I changed the plugs in it, and I remember it having a skinnier long part, that would fit in no problem. Not sure of what they look like on top though. Google it and see if that gives you any pics. But I can find those at the local yards easy.

modular ford 05 4.6 mustang? what about after markets ones like aem? evo ones?

JasonC SBB 01-13-2009 09:08 PM

Junkyard ones would be much cheaper than aftermarket ones.

Factory boosted motors would probably use strong coils. Eclipse, EVO, WRX, etc ?

try the wrx ones. cheap as fuck

Thick? Head height? There are a bunch of toyota cops that are interchangeable and have varying head thickness. I just sold this set to urbansoot and they're shorter than some of the others listed in the faq. Those came off a v6 previa.
