What wastegate to use?

So im running a t25/14b out of a 2nd gen talon. What is the factory psi on the wastegate? I've heard 9psi and read that its 4psi?....

I don't know what the stock actuator makes for boost but I'd imagine 10 minutes on a DSM forum would be enough to find out. If you want to spend some money for a bling bling part we make an actuator that can be set-up to run from 5-25 psi.

t25 is a Garrett part, 14B is a Mitsu part out of the 1st gen DSM. I think both were 9 psi actually.

So if I was to run a MBC inline is it not true that you can only turn it down to the wastegate psi and no lower?... I can't 9 psi... it might brake somehting.

I had a t25 from a eclipse on my crx. The stock wg was set at around 7-8 psi. The pressure varied depending on the exhaust setup.

You can thread the wastegate arm so it is adjustable. I have not done this myself though. Also, 9psi on that tiny turbo is not gonna churn out as much power as a larger turbo.

You cannot use a MBC or EBC to achieve lower pressure than the wastegate is set for.
