Wideband question
I purchased a UEgo for my car and I was wondering is it possible to run this sensor in place of my stock sensor? Sorry if this has been talked about before, but I searched for hours and could not find a definitive answer. I have a 99 so I am wondering which wires would I have to tap in my stock o2 connection line. I have read this may clear up my idle as seen here

Not sure about the AEM specifically, but wideband O2 controllers generally have a 0-5V output that you can wire to a gauge and a 0-1V narrowband simulator output that can be wired to the ECU in place of the stock O2 sensor.
Have you found the 0-1V output? |

K, well, your first question, can it be done? I'd be surprised if it couldn't.
Next question, should it be done? Hmm, when I ran the NB simulator from my PLX, it worked out well. Idle settled down, and the gas mileage increased. |

The AEM does not have a 0-1v output for narrowband sensors, it cannot emulate your narrowband. Leave your stock narrowband in place in the downpipe, install the wideband further down, weld in an extra bung if needed. AEM recommends 36" from the turbo to keep from overheating the sensor.
I run the stock sensor and my AEM wideband just before where my cat should be. Works perfect, it idles great, and I have normal like stock gas mileage if I stay out of the throttle. |

I was just wondering, I am still doing fine on my stock ECU with 6 psi & stock injectors!:) I plan on using the AEMWB to help me monitor my WI rates seeing that I can adjust it because I have a progressive set up. Should I run into any problems with this method? |
