Will a restrictor help with a T25 that passes a little oil through the intake?

I rebuilt my SR20 T25 using an e-bay rebuild kit because it was leaking oil through the exhaust side. Now it's letting a little oil through the intake.. It's not really that much oil. Not enough to cause smoking and definitely not enough to cause the oil level to drop. Just enough to have oil drip out of my BOV. I plan on changing it to something really sweet (like a GT2560) eventually but I dont have the cash for that. Not for a while. My two options are to just keep running it as is, or do something to help it. Would running a restrictor help? Maybe it'll bring the oil pressure down enough so that it wont leak at all?

Depends. Does that model turbo already have a restrictor built in? If the seal is buggered enough it won't matter what you do. I say just leave it alone for now if you are going to upgrade the turbo later anyway. It's not causing a problem so why bother.

not if the oil is coming from your breather line and not the turbo itself...

No, definitely from the turbo and not the breather line. My breather line doesn't connect with the charge-pipes at all. Just has a little breather filter on it (which is dry!). You can see a little bit of oilyness at the bottom of the intake housing when the air filter is removed. Maybe I'll just put a foam sock of some sort of the end of the BOV so it doesn't get all over my sway bar like it has been.

And as far as the turbo is concerned, I don't believe it has a built-in restrictor.

then try a 1/8" pop rivet.
