Correct T25?
I have been reading up alot and want to start putting together a T25 setup for my NA 1.6. I will make a noob into post tonight ... I just want to make sure this is the right turbo to start.
The kid is saying its off his SR20, but im pretty sure they aren't a 5 bolt downpipe. I thought they were 4?
He wants 50 bucks for it and i am going to rebuild it. Does it look right to you? The downpipe is throwing me off.

rebuild kit 60$. Get the shaft balanced 60$. Then the cost of a blown turbo 50$.
simple math states that 180$ would be on the cheap side. Thats if you did it yourself. You can find NEW t25's for that cheap. Do youself a favor and buy one new.

Ron's turbo service will balance it free if you buy the rebuild kit from them for $80. $25 if you dont buy it from him (great service btw), but you really don't need to rebalance if all the turbo needs is a rebuild. Just mark the wheels and shaft and install them in the same position. Thats what a turbo shop would do. IMO OEM>chinacharger so unless you can find a new OEM T25 for $130 I say rebuild is the way to go.

Yeah that is NOT an OEM Nissan Sr20 turbo.
Go on nicoclub.com or zilvia.net and find yourself a blown T25 from a sr20... Rebuild kit is < $100 ... Mark the orientation of everything so you can keep the stock balancing and jsut rebuild it yourself. I had 2 blown turbos off of my sr20 I had in HS. I spent under $100 rebuilding one and called it a day.
