looking to get peoples on the way the ic, piping and radiator are sitting on the car. nave no AC or PS. new to mitas, sorry.

also, can you guys post pics of your IC piping. i want to see how it sits on your car. how much clearance you have and how you run it. thanks.

That seems far too low to the ground, however I put my IC pipes in completely different places

hmm.. i like the simple routing you have. maybe i should invest into some custom piping. the silicone stuff FM sell is nice, but cant swing that right now.

what IC is that? works well? thanks.

It's a Yonaka 2.5" intercooler
Yonaka Intercooler Type 9 18x6x2.5"
I had a aluminum plate welded to the top of it, so I could bolt it in. It worked quite well, and seems to do a really good job.

thanks for the info.

your setup is an old design, but it works just fine. I'd just work on maybe tighten up the pipes and pulling then tight to the rad, might need to cut out a straight section of vertical pipe and replace with a coupler.

The intercooler is a great design but the pipes....not so much. That lower hot pipe could be a cause for concern in my opinion. No need to worry about custom piping, just use what you already have like i did. My Intercooler pipes are mixed pieces from different FM/Begi kits and it turned out great. I even cleared the a/c compressor with ease.

yeah.. maybe in the future i would do reroute... but for now... i wonder if there is anything i could brace it against. because there is play and gravity is pulling it down..

any ideas?

TIA

I would maybe attempt this:

I would cut a section out, and put a silicone couple in there, and then pull those pieces upwards.

thats a good idea, but i'm actually more concerned about the other pipe..

the pipe your suggesting to cut is the cold pipe.. which is still a good idea. hmmm.
