Default MSPNP Pro Back Order Wait Time

The MSPNP1 on the Silver car gave up the ghost after 10 years of loyal service. Ordered a MSPNP Pro to replace it, but the invoice said "Backordered." Just wondering what kind of wait time I'm in for?

I ordered an MS2 for 99-00 and an MS3 for 00-05 and a month later I emailed 949 to find that DIY dont even have the components in stock. This is a pretty big deal for me because the ecu's are for customers cars.

So make that a x2.

I can't say for sure, but on average I would say 2-3 days for them to get a pro unit built and shipped. At least for the good number I have ordered that have been "backordered".

The issue is that DIY dont have the parts for the boards. So we don;t know until DIY answer us or one of our vendors.

Have you emailed and talked to DIY yet?

Maniaclachy reckoned it's because of Trump's trade war with China (where all the parts come from these days) :P

I have only spoken with 949, I am not DIYs customer.

949 says the ECUs are with them now, or will be today/tomorrow.

Sorry about the delays - we've had a bit of a spike in orders. Right now backordered ECUs have been on a 2-4 week lead time. We're installing some new equipment and hope to get caught up soon - although just how soon is going to depend on just how much time we're able to shave off production with the new equipment.

Uh, no. It is because of huge worldwide demand for electronics. Every sub-industry has been getting tighter and tighter for months now.

I think you missed the "tongue in cheek" suffix (we call this "sarcasm" in the rest of the world, it's not meant to be taken literally).
