Stk turbo rev built MS2 + ID 650cc's PLX wideband MAC EBC tial BOV, Custom 2.5 Charge piping / Intercooler 2.5 TBE (side exit) all dyno Runs were done at Lovefabinc LoveFab Motorsport Fabrications | Perfomance Auto and NSX Specialists > Home here in Traverse city MI, on a Mustang dyno this dyno is known as the Heart breaker becuase its been known to run 20-25% low in numbers. Orginal base line run vs 2.5 TBE https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1409929960 stock results 115.5 HP with 20 % correction (23.1) = 138.6 HP 104.0 tq with 20 % correction (20.8) = 124.8 TQ 2.5 TBE Results 130.5 HP with 20 % correction (26.1) =156.6 HP 126.6 TQ with 20 % correction (25.3 ) =151.9 TQ # diff +18 HP +27.1 TQ 2.5 TBE Vs MS2+ ,650's,charge piping/ intercooler ect... https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1409929960 2.5 TBE Results 130.5 HP with 20 % correction (26.1) =156.6 HP 126.6 TQ with 20 % correction (25.3 ) =151.9 TQ MS2+ ,650's,charge piping/ intercooler ect... stk wastegate pressure ( 8-10 psi creep) Results 168.8 HP with 20 % correction (33.7) = 202.5 HP 144.0 TQ with 20 % correction (28.8 ) =172.8 TQ # Diff +45.9 HP +20.9 TQ EBC & maxed out stk turbo (13 psi) https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1409929960 MS2+ ,650's,charge piping/ intercooler ect... stk wastegate pressure ( 8-10 psi creep) Results 168.8 HP with 20 % correction (33.7) = 202.5 HP 144.0 TQ with 20 % correction (28.8) =172.8 TQ EBC and 13 PSI 165.1 HP with 20 % correction (33.2) = 198.1 HP 153.4 TQ with 20 % correction (30.68) =184 TQ # diff -4.4 HP +11.2 TQ through the tune we were pretty conservitive with timing. AFR in boost is pretty flat at 11.3-11.8 the stk trubo showed 15 lbs at the compresser outlet pipe and 13 at the intake manifold i can post logs and tune info if i could figure that out... some video fun :) |

I'm impressed at how well that turbo held 15psi all the way up. :) the boost gauge was right off the steel pipe off the stk turbo and yeah held 15 psi but at the intake we were only getting 13 lbs due to the drop over the large intercooler. the turbo was at peak/ lost efficency at that level anyways.. |
