Default 350HP 1.6??? Ebay turbos, Corn oil and drifting inside

Hi everyone! I asked about this over a year ago and received similar answers/beliefs/hatred. Well, I finally went to the dyno to see what my abomination build could produce and I was very well satisfied. It is a reputable dyno/tuner and everything was done on dynapack.

372whp/293ftlbs

Bone stock 1.6
Ebay T04E 22psi
Custom Tubular manifold
3" downpipe/straight exhaust
38mm Tial wastegate

BEGI intake manifold
m-tuned dual feed fuel rail
Injector Dynamics 1000cc injectors
E-85
stock TB
CX racing intercooler

AEM EMS4
Custom Wiring Harness
Zeitronix ZT-2 wideband
GM 3 bar map sensor
GM IAT sensor
GM CLT sensor
AEM SR20 CAS wheel
LS2 coils
BKR7E gapped to .028"
BMW VTPS

AN coolant reroute
37mm Koyo
140A alternator
Greddy Profec B boost controller

There's a dyno video coming sometime soon.

I pretty much already have a feeling what other people will say but I just wanted to document this for people who have 1.6 and want to boost them and only hear put in a 1.8. I ran my old motor at 17 psi and then 22 psi for a year before I overheated it and blew it up. It's possible and they aren't permanent but they will work and can last. Rings seem to be the biggest problem with high boost high mileage 1.6 motors.

200ft.lbs at 4600rpm is pretty much exactly why we all say "get a 1.8"

I get your point but also consider that this turbo is comically sized for this motor. With a smaller GTX I would like to be able to see similar power sooner. Looking at a 2867 or 2871 sometime around tax returns.

That's pretty much exactly how it is.
Fun and amusing for when you want to reinact TX2k videos or feel like you're driving a supra or something.

Lol, first Supra dyno I ever saw in person when I was younger, and on a car with a huge turbo. Was under 200hp until 5500-6000rpm, and then topped out at 981 a second later. Must feel good to have all that power for a second...........

Save your pennies and put a new frame Precision, Borg FMW or EFR on there. More powerz and more powerbandz.

My buddy Gary's GTR R32 was like that. It didn't pull until 5500 and then whammy! But it actually had a usable range because it was ported with big cams and ran to 9800RPM and 733awhp. It can be a lot of fun with a powerband like that but it would be very impractical on a racetrack.

Why do you think they only roll race from like 60-80? haha
I mean if that's your thing, it's really not bad because all you really need for that is 1k of powerband.

And to be fair, OP your power and torque output on stock 1.6? is seriously shocking. I mean 380 and 280 is a lot of power and torque to put through the ancient b6 and if it really is on stock rods then I am impressed.
