Megatune datalog from the run included

13.75@109 on the old/35psi/stretched 196 Falken Zeix 512s. 2degrees of camber and no shock adjustments.

60ft - 2.26
1/8th ET - 9.09
1/8th mph - 80.06
1/4mile ET - 13.75
1/4mile MPH - 108.91

Might have some useable vid... I'll know next week. I'll be mostly offline this holiday... sorry.

I trapped higher than I expected... and it has more in it at this psi...with a real launch and some work. I was slow shifting, my first 2 runs I missed 3rd and then 2nd/3rd... it sucked.

So my 3rd run made me happy.

UrbanSoot 05-25-2008 02:53 PM

how much power are you pushing?

zarish 05-25-2008 03:04 PM

Aren't you running way lean for turbo?

Splitime 05-25-2008 07:50 PM

12.0 isn't lean for turbo. If looking at the logs in MLV, set the wideband for an NGK AFK.

Urban... no idea.

Braineack 05-25-2008 07:57 PM

man I really need to get to a track...autox, 1/4, road course, empty lot...i dont care.

no let's add a few pounds of boost and work on your 60ft times and see what it can really do.

Edit: Nvm

My experience is you'll want to run way lower tire pressure on street tires to improve your 60 foot. 35 psi is nice for wheelspin.

Yah... but on the silly stretched tires (15x8 wheel and 195s...) I didn't want to risk ripping the bead loose. I doubt anyone had a Cheetah to blow the tire back onto the rim.

I wasn't trying for awesome times honestly, just getting it down the 1/4 in one piece was the goal.

Last weekends AutoX and this drag event... are just slow proofs to myself that everything is working as it should. Now I get to get around to finishing small stuff... adding more boost... and really beating on it.

Here is my only clean run (1 out of 3) for a 13.75@108.91

:werd: I think you'd be damn close to a 12sec quarter with tires and better driving. What does the car weigh now? mmmm... sounds good too

jeezus- what was that car in the other lane on the misshift vid- a plymouth fury? :eek5:

Splitime 05-27-2008 09:04 PM

I have no idea, but it took its darn time with its burnout.

It was at an event called Street Car Chaos... and its basically a domestic racing battle.

But yah guys... I wasn't even bothering trying to get decent 60s. With the tire stuff and what not... it just wasn't worth it.

I'll go back for more fun times and more boost... and launch control... and full throttle shifting.

I'll also weigh the car at some point. Ideally it'll get corner weighted.

What tranny and rear ratio?
What gear/rpm at the finish?

Splitime 05-27-2008 09:47 PM

4th and check the log for rpm.
stock 5spd and 01 lsd rearend... so....4.30? I can never remember.

edit: getting rpm now... i'm a nice guy :p
I don't know the exact time I passed the 'finish' line. I'd guess 7k?

Braineack 05-27-2008 10:38 PM

it was 7030 in your log when i looked.
