Default Newbsauce GT2871 Dyno runs (247rwhp)

Slightly disappointed. Run on a loaded 424xLC dynojet dyno, these numbers are reading almost exactly 10% lower than my previous runs on any 248 x Dynojet. The shop says the eddy brake is putting slight load on the rollers and they are getting a replacement model (we couldn't do loading base tuning). I called Dynojet and they said the condition might cause this loss.

Same thing as my plots...we are both missing 10%, most likely due to a fubared eddy brake that's being replaced. Here are Brad's results:

more boost and a bigger turbo. GT2871 vs my T3 S60. Also has a built motor and had more timing in it than me.

Nice numbers, that is one sexy Miata.

Brianeack, what size turbo are you running? That comparison dyno is making me think I should have gone with a bigger turbo :(

*Nevermind, I'm too slow, haha*

Did you go to tune or get power numbers? I figured you were going to the same dyno because you were looking for new numbers as a comparison. You need to set up a dynoday for pulls or something. Very nice torque for Brad though.

Brad spent a good amount of time on the dyno, as you can see from his first pull his EBC had yet to be tuned and his fuel and timing map needed work. I just did a few pulls.

Super impressive.
Which 2871? Any headwork on brad's car?

no just a built bottom end. Belfab rods and Weisco pistons.

The car is running fantastic, I had alot of issues to work out on the dyno, but I'm super pleased. I would imagine a new head/imani will net some serious gains.

The 2871 is a .63 AR hotside I picked up off fleabay, made by Precision Turbo.
