GT2554r Dyno Sheet

Hi Guys,

Eventually made it to a rolling road and managed 221.5bhp at the wheels. Quite happy with that on a 2554.

Here's a scan of the rolling road graph.

That is good for a 2554, no correction factor?

GrahamC 08-29-2009 06:13 PM

Not sure what that means? Excuse my ignorance.

MiataMX5 08-29-2009 08:43 PM

how much boost

thirdgen 08-29-2009 10:29 PM

Almost 2 hours later, the big question still stands:
HOW MUCH BOOST?

GrahamC 08-30-2009 07:25 AM

Around 13psi, tailing off to 11.x psi at the redline.

Nice numbers, but holy torque drop Batman!

Do you think the torque drop off could be fixed by just trying to run 13psi to the redline?

akaryrye 08-30-2009 04:30 PM

would sure help a lot mate

GrahamC 08-30-2009 05:23 PM

I'm pretty sure if I run 13psi to the red line I'm going to get knock. I keep it at bay with octane booster at the moment. Maybe I'd be best to increase the boost to a flat line and pull some timing if I'm encountering more knock.

:)

Then again, if you were going to run more boost near redline, then why not increase it lower too and enjoy a fatter midrange?

WI is always an option to help deal with knock.
