Red for gt2860rs, blue for gt2560. Running 17psi.
1.6 NA with 2000 nb8 engine swap. Adaptronic, 3" exhaust with no cat. Cam sprocket with supertech valve spring. Wiseco 8.5, eagle rods, FM manifold. 850cc injectors. Blitz electronic boost controller.

Would anyone know why my top end is dipping despite turbo holding boost till the end? Manifold? Cams? I played with the sprocket but didn't made much difference.

Turn your picture around...

Dip should be intake manifold/throttle. Time for honda/64mm.

Amellrotts 05-10-2013 09:27 AM

At those rpms I think cams also come into play with the power dropping off.

Wtf. Cams come into play at all RPMs. Duh. Change your manifold first.

You come on, ask a question that can be found with a search, and then correct the answer. Just search.

What a/r exhaust housing is your 28060RS?

0.86

Nice, too bad it's on a 1.6. I ran an 2560 on a log manifold and will soon be running a 2860RS .86 on an AbsurdFlow, I think spool diff will be limited based on Hustler's previous achievements.

^He says he's got a 2000 NA8 in it

IM/TB, and the FM log probably aren't helping.

2860RS doesnt fair well above 1bar.

2871R graph would look like your 2860 graph but have the power hold steady. i didnt notice any difference in spool from a 2860 to 2871.

18psi 06-10-2013 02:17 PM

That's not true at all, sorry.

There are numerous plots showing the 2860rs holding over 300 all the way to redline with no power dips. Its most definitely good for that much. Past 300 the 2871r starts shining of course, but up to that point I'd take the 60rs

Since nismo502 didn't include torque in lb-ft I calculated the points based on HP and RPM and graphed them along with the HP.

AFR plot? Spark map?

Upload and that can help clear the picture

Are you really running it to 8000 rpm on the dyno or is there a miscalculation?
