stock rods?

Madvillain 04-12-2012 12:56 AM

nah, bottom end is built. carillo rods.

Oni 04-12-2012 01:01 AM

Doubt it, not many ppl would do pistons and not the known weak rods. If they are stock they wont be in the block for long :). Looks awesome, any coments on how long that turbo will live at 18psi?

18psi 04-12-2012 01:10 AM

Looks good.
I don't think the turbo will have a problem with 18psi though it does look like its near maxed out. Looks like a great daily driver/street car powerband.

Cool, im wasnt sure if that whole 16psi thing was just people being silly or what not. Torque dropping off uptop on this size turbo is normal from what i read, but yours seems to be dropping off alot slower than oter dynos ive seen. Are you doing anything to "prop" it up like running a ton of additional timing up top / boost creeping a bit?.

Would be awesome to see a timing map if possible.

Thanks
Scott

Good power. Any chance you have a dyno chart scaled in RPM?

All you need now are some tubular hotside parts and an intake manifold, then you can recreate Paul's old numbers.

Good numbers, time for a bigger snail? :bigtu:

Looks like an awesome powerband. I'd love to see the spark map if you wouldn't mind sharing.

And +1 to the needs bigger turbo comments.
