Default 99 with M45 delete add MS3 and a 6 speed :)

Since removing the M45 I installed a Reverent built MS3 and tuned the car myself on the street. It currently has an 01+ header, feeding into a BEGi 3" midpipe with resonator and the BEGi "quiet" 3" muffler. The car has been converted to E85 with RX8 425cc/min injectors and a Walbro 255 lph fuel pump.

I asked what a typical stock 99 makes on their dynojet and was told "around 110 WHP", so a solid 20 WHP gain over a stock 99 combined with the 6 speed and 4.3 rear diff it feels faster than it was at 164 WHP on the stock 5 speed.

First graph is just the current run.

Second graph is current run vs same car with stock exhaust and M45 at 5.5 psi.

Third graph is the first two graphs vs same car with 01+ header and M45 at around 9 psi.

looks really solid for what it is. congrats.
I think mine did 120 with ms, id1000's, and on e85 on VD.

So your results are pretty much exactly what I'd expect. I asked in your other thread, but I'll ask here too: how do you like the rx8 injectors with ms3? startup/idle/hot restart/driveability/etc is all good? I keep hearing people have issues with hot restart on rx8's even when AIT isn't soaked. Is yours doing that?

Can't wait for boost plots

LOL, just answered you in the other thread. Everything is great other than the hot restart issue. Not sure if everyone with that has RX8's or if it is with a variety of injectors... all seem to be returnless fuel system cars.

haha thanks man.

I think Jason narrowed it down to the injectors themselves heat soaking and pw's actually changing due to heat.

Why did you get rid of the M45 instead of just adding the MS3 and E85? Just curious.
