That is the thread. I probably had too much alcohol and adrenaline in me when I posted there.

I certainly never meant to call 18psi a bitch. He is one of the most honest and decent people I know. Sorry man! Hopefully that's not how it came across. I honestly have no idea who controls what around here.

I said, might be.

IMHO: We do our fair share of relentlessly beating down the sad combination of ignorance and laziness that rears it's ugly head here on a daily basis, as well as a-hole-ness. In that case, the triggering comments seemed to be simply misguided and tone-def, but without malice. Emilio's ragey reaction was over-the-top, and the elders brought a little perspective to help keep balance in the universe. I think PC has nothing to do with it.

We have come to expect a little variability in the post style on these threads though, depending on the time of day

No offense taken, I knew it was just:
too much alcohol and adrenaline

I love it when SOTH drunk posts.

I legit saw his post and my first thought was... "huh, I wonder which awesome beer he's drinking?"

Soo.... which delicious beerverage was that fueled by?

Ok, not sure if this picture is going to work. But it was Mt. Tam Pale Ale. Seems cruel to say until I think about the Sam Adams Black Lager that's only available in Mass. I love that stuff, yum

A terrible day, but I learned I can consistently run 13.5 if I miss 3rd gear every time. Changed the shift **** a few days ago, don't ever do that, kept sticking it in 5th instead of 3rd. Made a tranny mount but I don't know if it made any difference yet.

Saw this Lamborghini run 11.8@128

Also saw this Z06 that was very fast

Here is the tranny mount, just a prototype

Finally did my $1700 weight redux procedure yesterday. I can't recommend against this enough. Cut some sheet metal, remove a bolt, pull the freaking passenger sun visor, anything. So now my car weighs 2531.99#'s woo hoo! Should be faster in November

That was fun!
Anticipation of this may have affected my 1/4 mile performance the other day. My mood might improve now that I don't have this to look forward to this anymore, ok probably not. Yes I am still in discomfort, and I can't eat anything that I want. At least my wife made 2 different huge pots of soup for me to survive on.

I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth pulled about 3 or 4 weeks ago now. I found the narcotics made me really groggy and tired. I recommend watching Hurricane Heist on netflix. It is horrible, but when nothing else makes sense who cares. Also Escape Plan 2 is another bad one. I mostly stuck to Ibuprofen mostly for pain relief every 6 hours.

Yeah, it wasn't too fun. I did the 600mg ibuprofen thing, luckily I only had the 2. I get to go back for a post-op visit after work today, finally eating whatever I want again. Happy to almost feel normal again

Well, my head is almost feeling normal, except for the huge new holes. Anyway, would you look at that.

Yep, I went 120... Finally! Couldn't E.T. for **** tho, even with 2 decent 60's. But I have been wanting to go 120 for a while now. It was a nice night, last Wednesday night drags are next week, hopefully the weather holds.

I spy a Nogaro Blue B5 S4! Is that a 10.6 dialin on the windshield?

No, that is a 14.4. My neighbor has one that is almost as fast as my car tho, I told him. You guys would like that kid, he has a WRX too, he is probably 19 or 20, just got the Audi. He said he wanted to make sure the thing didn't "Suck ***." Most of the folks out there are pretty cool people. I am gonna miss that place over the winter.

Heh. Yeah, I figured out the car # vs dialin number eventually.

I had one of those S4s when they were new -- they can be wickedly fast when tuned, bigger turbos, downpipes, etc. Mine stayed stock though. I ran it around Laguna Seca once, and set the brakes on fire.

Too funny, I race this manual Hellcat, he dials .05 seconds faster than me. So I heckle him about being only .05 seconds faster than a POS miata. Next thing you know he is changing his dial in to 12.00. So I smoke him the whole way, yep, I let off, then even hit the brakes. Had a great time, would have made the final 4 if I didn't change my dial in.

That last race with my buddy's GT500 was a fun race, neck and neck the whole way. I am sure gonna miss this place.

Those hellcats are sloooow considering how much they cost and the power they make...

They're probably way more impressive in the 1/2 mile because of how friggin heavy they are.

Did 178 in the standing mile. 30.1 seconds.
Start at 10:20

I mean, I am pretty sure I have seen my friend's auto do 10.8 at 127. I think that was that guy's first time at the track, considering he had nice rear tires and his 60 doesn't look better than mine. His car was slower tho, he was probably spinning tires, I was 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

It's not that those things are slow, it's that my Miata is fast as hell. Rish, your post makes it seem like you did a half mile event yourself. My car is almost topped out, pretty sure that I am crossing the finish line above 6500 rpm.

Oh, and for folks wondering about my tranny mount. It isn't meant to keep the case from twisting. It's more of a PPF assist brace, to keep the PPF from bowing up like a crazy lever on the back of the tranny. Just limiting upward movement, the real tranny mount actually twists easily, and transmits zero noise. It seems to maybe help with consistency launching, but it's too early to tell, next year.

Haha, no, I'm talking about the hellcat and the video I posted. That's why I said start at 10:20.
