My miata is fast.
Was doing well but I missed 2nd on the first elimination round.
Got a 12.7 at 108 and a 12.8 at 109

They love my car at the drag strip. All the stock v8 guys who show up next to me, expecting to smoke my ***, have nicknamed my car "The Humiliator!"
Also love the look on people's faces when they double take on my tires.

Thanks again guys!

Now you just need to challenge Savington to a 1/4 mile race and crush him because you have all the 1/4 mile skills.

And I thought I would get **** for trying to teach him how to gap his plugs. They just ignore me in his thread, probably wouldn't even notice a challenge.
Maybe I should tell them to get a bike pump and start playing with their wastegate cans. But WTF do I know.
I don't plan to punk him anymore but I am at Sears Point every Wednesday that drag racing is on. I would love to get beat by the TSE street car, or any of you guys. Even pdexta, who would smoke my ***. It would just be nice to see another miata out there that doesn't run a 16 or 17.

I keep thinking about going up there, but I'm so bad at launching cars that I'd probably do something really stupid like 17 seconds at 110 mph.

I keep hoping to see you there. It's tons of fun, you will learn to launch better.

I'll make it up there once I have the full E85 tune and the Mustang trans in. Remember I have a full Racelogic system with launch control

It ought to be a good race

There are 5 more regular Wednesday night drags this season. Come on through, it's fun, it's cheap, and you get to beat your car down the track as hard as you can. I would love to see some of you guys there. I will even offer up my guest room for a rest stop if you want.
If anyone shows up, I am in "Gear Jammers" class, we line up on the far right next to the motorcycles.
I don't plan to go to the final Thanksgiving bracket drag race, too much waiting and not enough racing. There's always next year.

FYI, there's no e85 around here that I know of. If you learn otherwise, I would be overjoyed to know.

Hope to see some of you guys next week.

Heading out to Sears Point in about 1/2 an hour. I have been messing withy tune the last few days, so it would be a good day to come beat me. I will probably only get low 13's today.

Come on out, if you leave now it should be plenty of time from the south bay.

No takers huh?
Oh well, you had your chance. Got my tune worked out again and took home a trophy for semi final.

Should be pretty cool tomorrow night. I have been messing with my wastegate and need to play with the closed loop EBC tune some. I am hoping to pick up a tenth or so, and hoping not to window my motor. Yet...

Maybe see some of you guys there, only 3 Wednesday night drags left this year.

They're Marin rods, so they're still nervous about coming out

Hopefully they will wait until next season and come out all cute.
Instead of like THIS!!

There were some cool cars today.

Didn't actually see the Ferrari run but the fancy Lotus is slower than our cars.

I had my best time 12.74 at 109.2 but I had an ok day overall. I didn't get my EBC closed loop tune the way I wanted before I got eliminated.
So there will be another good chance to beat me next week. Only 2 more Wednesday night drags left this year.

There was a Harley that spewed it's guts on the track, so we had to wait a while for them to clean it up. I learned that they burn synthetic off the track.

Notice the flag, no head wind today and it was cool, very unusual conditions at Sears Point today.
