and before you ask: yes that's a side exhaust

you wanna know the reason he finally switched from festiva to 323?

the front end, literally at the suspension cups, was RIPPING OFF FROM THE REST OF THE CAR, FROM LAUCHES/RACING.

Like, literally just split off. couple hard lauches, and hsi front end woulda departed from the body of the car.

oh and he was on his 13th transmission

Please stop, I can't catch my breath! Reminds me of racing Vettes with my buddy's '83 Rx7.

Good Stuff.

Tip on MLV: Go to "Calculated Fields" and then "Fixed field Min and Max". There you can set, well, Min and Max values. If you set them the same for AFR and AFRTarget, for instance, then they will lay right on each other with the error being easy to see.

It would be a 5 minute walk away from you if you had gone to BUSM!

I'm not sure what I mean by that, but I thought it needed to be said.

Ahh. No.

If I had bought some crappy degree from that sewer of a so called learning institution. I would have to drive at least 20 minutes to the teeny parking lot and hope someone was leaving soon.

Thanks for posting! That's fairly impressive. What size injectors are you running? I was maxing out 550s in my 99 back in the day on a stock motor @ 17 PSI with a GT3271. Ran similar timing as well.

For the LOL, I've been thinking about putting a stock motor in my car to just see how much I could get out of it. Seeing what you're doing has me pondering that idea even more.

I am 99% positive he is running FF 640cc injectors.

I have one of NigelT's first set of Flow Force injectors, I got MT pink adapters . IIRC my set was around 628-630cc, I can't seem to max them out on gasoline.

What's the +/- typically on injectors compared to their rating? If FF is marketed at 640, sonofthehill got 630s, should I consider myself super lucky getting 666 on my flowsheet?

Like I said, mine are from the original prototype batch. I think I told Nigel that I would be happy with the smallest ones at the time.

I am by no means dissing 630's. It's still a really good deal no matter how you look at it.

Oh well, got dialed in ok, then couldn't seem to put the thing in 3rd to save my life. Also hit overboost a couple times, can't ever seem to recover from that, "boom". Beat the Vette next to me, til I missed my first shift. He was asking what happened after I beat him the first time. He was a cool guy, reminded me of Ed Turbofan.

Would have been a good day for some EFR folks to show up and beat me.

I also seemed to get more compliments about my car today. From, the car runs good, to impressed that I tuned it myself.
There was this insane Civic that ran 9 seconds.

Also got K24MADNESS' megasquirt reading his wideband properly, so we can finally log that thing. He was stoked, should be headed to Andrew for tuning in the near future. It's gonna be a beast and he promised to drag it.
