Default Vodka guzzling churbo, result.

Specs of car.

BP4W
Ms3
ID14 750cc
E85
BEGI 2854 churbo
FMIC
EBC
0.9 bar / 13 psi.
6-speed, 3.9 torsen, fifth gear run.

Result:

Black is uncorrected whp
Red is crank hp.
Blue is.. I dunno, never mind that.
Torque is 345.3nm max. >280 nm from 3550 rpm to redline.

Tuned for area under curve and not max power to save oem rods.

Boozer car is doing well.

European dude, sadly I did now get the whp and torque on the same sheet, got this crank

What the hell 345.3nm is in lb/f is.... (wait google, need to get to grips with imperial) ...its 254.7 lb/f crank. I'll be damned if I know what that is in rwtq. And 252 whp. You gotta love e85, picked up 12 hp just switching fuels, without touching boost or ignition. That is impressive to me

Odd torque curve below 3500 is due to churbo, they have weird spool, going to 7psi, staying there for a bit, then rising.
Nothing the EBC can do about it. (oh, and I picked up 1.6 hp between the former and the second run due to smoothing).

I was going to ask about that, looks like you already know.
That's kinda weird cause other churbo's don't seem to exhibit this behavior

Mine do and I've been scratching my head about it for a long time, tried to cure it. no dice.
But eventually, the churbo will die and something better will take its place.

My Begi 2854 did the same thing, between 3-4 psi. At one point after changing exhaust setups boost would actually DROP 0.5psi or so as the RPM was climbing from 4.0 to 3.5psi....... so weird. Glad I finally upgraded.

That is pretty odd.

I have this turbo soon to be running on EWG. Ill have to see if it does the same thing. Perhaps its just the crappy IWG design that is causing it to spool weird.

At 4psi the IWG is still locked shut with EBC though, I don't understand it either. I have the log of it, so whack.
